Hello, looking to lift my 1995 workhorse and I noticed that the lift from everything carts uses ?shackles? on the real springs instead of moving the springs over the axle. Is this normal for this type of lift? Is it better than moving the springs over the axle? (Is this even a good idea) I tried to post the pictue but it didn't work. here is the link. https://www.everythingcarts.com/p-363-ezgo-94-015-5-lift-kit-workhorse.aspxthanks

Ours does use a different rear with a shackle set up. Mainly due to we don't like lift kits that you have to do any cutting/welding etc...It is some kits out there that you move the rear leaf springs above the rear axle but you do have to do some cutting to get everything bolted up.

Thanks for the reply EC. Do you find these shackles holding up pretty good? If they need to be replaced can you buy them seperately?

All of EC's lifts are made in the USA and replacement parts are available when needed. This is a huge advantage over some other lifts out there because regardless of how strong a part is we can always find cool ways to break em ;) i.m.o that setup is the only way to go on a Workhorse.
