I recently acquired an EZ-GO cart, I think it might be a 1990 model.
It is a 36V cart.
I have the cart pretty much stripped down and am in the process of checking out the main components.
I have several questions.
1. Is it worth doing anything with this cart to begin with?
meaning are parts available and so forth or should I just scrap it?
2. All the batteries are junk. I was thinking of replacing them with 12V batteries wired series/parallel.
is there any advantages or disadvantages to do this?
Any input would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

It all depends on the current condition of the cart if it's worth fixing. Parts are still available for it. As far as batteries go you're better off with 6 6 volt golf cart batteries.
