Rocker Panel Install Options

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 3/18/2011 Posts: 3 Points: 9 Location: Northern VA		I recently purchased a set of stainless steel rocker panels from EC for my G-16 and need to know how they install. Should the existing plastic rocker and assocated trim and rivets be removed or does the new panel simply install over the existing panel? If so, the new panel is higher than the existing panel at the floor mat area causing a potential trip hazard. Please advise.
