I have a 1990 that has the wiper assembly for acceleration. When I push the foot throttle to the floor the wiper arm gets stuck. I can get it loose by snapping the throttle pedal with my toe but I don't really think cruise control was an option I was looking for.

Would it help to put some electrical contact grease on the wiper face and arm face to prevent this sticking. Or is that not a good idea? thanks
